As the day draws nearer and is finally here. You get all excited as everyone cheers. "This is it!" you think Graduation is here. My life slowly changes and here come the tears. You try to hold back but you don't dare. Crying is one way of showing you care. As your name is called off you stand tall and proud. You look down as your shoes and then into the crowd. You see smiling faces and some sad frowns. You feel like a King with your cap and gown. As the final names are called you sigh with relief. Everyone smiles as happiness overcomes grief. "I can do this!" you think, "My freedoms almost here! What am I doing?! I'll miss all the years!" The room turns silent There's nothing to hear. Then all fo a sudden everyone cheers. The announcer comes on and says a few words. "Any minute now.... I'll fly away with the birds!" Pictures are snapping as the class slowly rises. The future, it brings unexpected surprises. Then caps are thrown and everyone cheers. The announcer comes on and wishes you luck in the future years. With memories left leaving everything behind. You smile through tears of happiness but nobody minds!
Reason for writing:
Uhm~I really dunno. I was just thinkin of my best friends brother graduating that year and all that he was gonna miss. That made me think of when I graduate and how much I'd miss everythang and then be on my own. Other than that, I just dunno!
