I don't know how to explain it. If only you could see how much I really care for you and how much you mean to me. I never thought I'd find someone who loves me as much as you. I never thought that when we met I'd fall in love with you. You're all that I could ever want or ever need to carry on. Always know that you'll be remembered when we're no longer 'one'. If we should have to say good-bye, I'd feel completely lonely. Knowing what I had just lost which was my one and only. I pray that day will never come when we would have to part. But always know that you, alone, will have a place in my heart.
Reason for writing:
I wrote this poem when I was with my first true love. Actually most of them are about my first love. He was pretty much the only thang that got me started writing poetry. Even though I am no longer with him, I still have the strong feelings for him and I'll always love him.
