The End of Terror The smoke filled the screen, and the air that we breathed, our people cried out as they gazed at the sky, the chaos ensued before all our eyes. And the smoke still does smolder, in the ruins and rubble, the embers burn deeply in our very heart, the fire is lit and the battle does start. As we continue to live somehow as before, our security seemingly pierced as never before. Yet now our resolve so strengthened and just, Deeply determined to do as we must. The Foe failed to consider, where his means might now end, could he believe that we as a nation had not a friend? or that we could not stand tall in the face of his burning our buildings? He will Now find as he seeks to further his aims: The Combined Might of the World now against his commands, and Divine retribution shall be what he has sown, the disservice he did will be to his own. In taking US on as a nation you see, he surely shall find an enemy mighty, the backfire began in our souls of our hearts, Terror will never succeed in breaking our great nations apart. Our people, our nation, our world, now awakened, responding in the face of dastardly deeds, the error of their ways will be met with our fervor, and they will find in the days that yet lie ahead as their support does depart and they shake in their dread, The wound they inflicted to the world's very heart will mend and will heal and mightily beat, with the strength of the righteous, withstanding all heat. Whatever the thinking beforehand presumed, the wrongness of thought will become obvious soon. They can flee they can hide, but they will be now forced to fight and it shall be they who will face mortal fear in their flight in the end it will be they who shall suffer and die our people strong and not subject to the whim of terrorist leaders there will be no winning for those infernal plotters of evil Who did attempt to undue the peace of our planet and all the innocent souls of our now dead men and women and children in their names and their memories we will wage war our foe shall not win. The moment shall echo and reverberate ever and surely as smoke still in the skies how foolhardy they were to believe that their lives were acting on anything not based solely on lies forever we stand against those who may seek an end to our lives and the glories of peace the world shall remain and go on as before and become ever more vigilent and safe for our children, the end of the terrorists' reign a foregone conclusion. j fradkin sept. 12, 2001
