Painted brilliant in Devil's hues Desperately searching for any clues Coursing endless blood red skies My minds voices rent me with their shrill cries At the place where sky meets land Right below the palm of my hand A razor straight line The horizon of the mind Fear drives me forward, in a race I can't win Craving only to reach the end Upside down, the sky meets the ground Collisions of time on the horizon of the mind Ego, super ego an id The real monsters from which I hid But no lock can bar my frustration, which leads to more hesitation As I search to find, the horizon of the mind Darkness and light combine, impossible to see The razor thin line I walk, is me Good and Evil, Heaven and Hell, the things I will find When i reach, the horizon of the mind
