blink*

with every new blink it becomes a new present
while the last blink was merely a part of the past
close your eyes and blink anew
for you can blink away all your problems
and start your life over again
some blink because their eyes start to shed water
i blink to erase my memory and misery
and hope the next blink will be just as promising
as the last
