One Life (Part 7)

by Dark Angel - Pisces

Here they come, unaware of me, flying down the road
I'll just lie here like I'm a dead toad
And when they see me they'll slam on their brakes and there they go
Blood drops on white roses.

Squealing breaks across the pavement
Animal lovers, not an amazement
Car rolls over, their bodies lay twisted in fragments
Blood drops on white roses.

They just celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary together
Dragging the family along to make the memory last forever
Another year to celebrate, never
Blood drops on white roses.

Nose in the air, tail still swinging high
I pass the drunken test as I walk the yellow line
This is the best ever, I hit a gold mine
Blood drops on white roses.
