Life

by Andrew Northway - Gemini

Intoxicated with our world's madness, she's in love with her sadness.

Her world's got the death disease, there aren't a whole lot of palm trees. Somehow her life got lost in the wreckage of false reality. In her life of mind games it feels like a checkmate.

Her mind will never heal, and all she feels is pain, because what she wants is so unreal.
Her eyes feel like they're going to bleed, and sleeping is the only thing in which she can't succeed.

When she ran from life she didn't feel like a runaway.
When she escaped her fears she didn't feel like she got away. She's feeling low, and isn't loving life, on her wrist lays a knife, she might decide to take her life.

She's feeling hate, she's feeling used, she's feeling crazy and abused, she's feeling her OWN way of life. She looks up at the cross and asks herself "why do I worry about the past when its already been? Why do I worry about about what I saw when i've already seen?"
Jesus finds a way into her mind and tells her "Don't even try, you're only going to die in the end. Killing yourself will make you God's friend."

She looks at the cross and asks god to look away well she slips into herself. She says "there's nothing left of me except myself.
