You're the one with the choice And you've chosen to turn away Not except the way I live Or who I am today You're prejudice against my child Who is innocent and sweet But she's not exactly like you So shes not gonna enough to meet So I love someone of a race not mine He's human, smart and very kind He treats me well, he treats me right He stays with me through the long cold night My child has nothing to do with the decision Ive made And I feel so bad that you'll never know your own blood And you'll never see what a great person your grandchild will become You'll never know of their achievements or qualities and traits You'll live without knowing All because of your stupid hate
Reason for writing:
Not from my own personal experience, but I wrote it like I was in my sister's place, because my niece is mixed and a lot of my relatives didnt accept her at first.
Birth sign: Cancer
