Trust I am aching for the thing I lust Which is, for you to put effort in giving me trust Don’t stare at me like a stranger when it comes to trust It’s easier to believe if there was something, now is lost I trust you with all my words, like a true companion Because I only believe in you, with a true opinion Leaving me with great expectations that our relationship has finally matured But if there’s no trust, how can there be a future Sometimes I reach out to you and it gets colder Just by leaning my head next to your shoulder Are you okay? Is just a question with no answer Why are you trying to make me give up faster? Answer once if it was my fault, so finally to blame And if it wasn’t my fault, then why you play the quiet game? My silence leads you only to mere anger Your quietness makes me no more than a beggar To beg and beg for your understanding To have belief in us is what I’m demanding Dot just pass your eyes through these lines They’re no patterns or any signs Just words of a poem in need and must Just hoping and praying for confidence and trust
Reason for writing:
Trust plays a big part in relationships. And sometimes I think my girlfriend needs to realize it.
