A Memory dedicated to Shayna L. Yagoda I sat in my bed last night, closed my eyes, and remembered…. I have lied, and I have cried, making myself feel worse And making you feel like you will never forget as long as you shall live I have gone through life as it has come to me, not worrying about what comes next And I have been through some of the worst times of my life I feel as if I have hurt your life in a way that cannot be repaired, Yet, I feel like I have changed your life in some way that will never be forgotten… I sat in my bed last night, opened my eyes to life, and remembered what I have done You made me a better person that I thought I already was You made me breath for the first time in my life You are my breath Love is something that I have never known even though I have said it Until now….. Fate is something that I have never known Until now….. You make me want to dance You make me want to enjoy every aspect of life when I don’t feel well You’ve made me want to write The moment that I saw you for my first time, There was something there and I knew it, no matter what I have said….. The time is now when everything has come together We have been through it all Love lasts forever no matter what you say to me I sat in my bed last night, opened my eyes, and remembered….. I remember the times that I put my arm around your tummy The time I held your hand The time that we took our last dance before I left Remember the darkness of the room Remember the feeling of my warmth I remember your crying You are the diamond in my heart as well as every shooting star in the sky Your are very special and always remember that I sat in my bed last night, opened my eyes, and remembered…… I cried and I remember our time When I lay down for the last time, be there Hold my hand for my last few breaths, because you are my breath Be there for me when the time comes so far away Friends don’t always last forever, but love does…… You made me who I am right now And who I am today Just remember one thing in your mind and in your heart You will always be very special to me My name is Kevin Arthur Friduss, Writer.
