The Unknown Grave

by Vincent DONNAHUE III - Cancer

Nor my image nor my name
Are carved in the tombstone,
Defying winds and rain
While there rest my burried bones.

I disappeared in time
And became the dust of death,
Still lying in the dungeon of mine
Where I eft my last breath.

No dead flowers near my stone
Left by a friend of mine,
Because in this grave unknown
Lies a man burried alive.
