Should Have Never Left

by Jack Daniels - Virgo

Church bells ring
Angels sing
As I ascend the stairs
Surounded by dancing wind

Like a man
Being guided to his
death, I walk
Down the ebony aisle

A figue drapped in red
Emeges
From a distant chamber
I swore

It would only be
A matter of time
Before the mistress of darkness
Would return
To me.
