memories

here i am again,
alone by myself,
memories float through my head,
as if they were placed on a shelf,
each one sitting there,
waiting to be touched
why do i do this to myself,
havent i hurt enough,
why do i need to have these times,
when these thoughts run through my head,
maybe i need a reminder,
in the past,
of whats been said..........
