Yesterday You Told Me By: Ann M. Hampton Yesterday, you told me you love me, For the first time since we met. I was so touched inside In a way I'll never forget. I never thought those words Would cross your lips to mine. I thought I've have to wait for eternity, or did I hear wrong? It sounded just like you said them, Or was that jsut the words in the song. I've been waiting long to hear those words Off your lips so smooth and easily they flowed, So I wonder if you say them often to someone else, I'd never know. For when I said, "I love you," I meant every word was true, And I hope that when you said them That's the same way for you.
Reason for writing:
Because yesterday you told me you loved me for the first time since we met.
