THE SHADOWS Welcome to the shadows Where the dark people play We like to listen to music And shoot the shit all day People don't understand us And why we do the things we do I say fuck them all Your opinion is up to you We wear different clothing And we have different views Whether you are one of us Is a decision you must chose We are the wierd people The ones from which you hide We may be in the shadows But we hide there with pride
Reason for writing:
I am a part of a group of people that is very misunderstood. As I get to know more people I have learned that they feel the same way. I wrote this poem for all the dark people out there that feel as though there is nobody out there like them.
