She swims limply with fake plastic trees and eyes that are watching God. Air is poisonous to lungs watered sweet so breath stings burning flesh blue. Her eyes bulge searching clear surfaces though blind to her soul's nourishment. Deeper she sinks ignoring the guiding light down to her lair with death's lingering aftertaste.
Reason for writing:
Fabiana my siamese fighting fish is the most dark, soulful creature I know. To her I dedicate my most sorrowful utterances, praying that my words may reach her in her soundless water world.
