I know that you have cancer I just need someone to give me the answer Why do things have to be this way I dont know what to do or say Please tell your not gonna die I will never beable to say bye You say things will be okay And i pray that your right day after day I wish youd say it isnt true That im not gonna lose you I want you to promise me again That this is not the end Theres one thing i always fear That i will wake up and you wont be here Noone knows how much this breaks my heart What will happen when we have to part My one wish is that this is only a dream Thats when the tears start to stream But im trying to stay strong Incase i have to say bye before long
Reason for writing:
I found out that my mother had cancer and i couldnt understand why this had to happen to her. So i decided to write a poem.
