Wandering

by thadeuss - Sagittarius

I took a life today,
I took it while the life
Was young.
Corruption and avarice,
Vile and vicious,
Took that life as well.

I could have stopped it,
Could have saved it,
I didn't know it well,
Why bother?

All within it, hopes and
Dreams, loves and hatreds,
I shared them, they were mine.
The life that died took
Mine as well.

I took my life the other day,
I did not kill myself.
Undecided, lost within,
I could not find myself.
And so I became another.

Wandering, seeking, all
Plans awry,
I find myself, and spy
A lifeless body; all is meaningless.
Regret fills me, remembrance kills me;
All is well, I'm still alive.

Reason for writing:

    i think too much
