I miss you now, I miss you more With each new passing day It's hard to comprehend sometimes Why God called you away Could it be He needed one more angel And God only takes the best Or could it be He knew your body was tired So He laid you down to rest You were so young, God's own child So much life yet to live Despite all the pain and suffering You gave all that you could give I guess it was time, God needed you more And in a twinkling you were gone And though I can't see or touch you I know I'm not alone God gave you a job, He gave you your wings And I know that you watch over me Wrapping your loving arms Protecting your family I morn for you, grieve for you More than you'll ever know But God needed another angel So, I have to let you go I miss you now, I miss you more You're in Heaven, that is true And until God calls me home as well Just know, Daddy I love you
