The distance between us Is growing every night I knew I lost your trust When you held me tight Deep down I knew you loved me Now you've been taken away Now you really can be free Yet I still pray For you to come back For you to live again You're only a memory but it's all that keeps me sane I wonder the green fields Memories of fun filled days And lust filled nights I can see you through the haze Forgotten dreams and paradise lost Only playing the game No matter the cost It will never be the same Something hidden stirs tonight Frozen tears trace icy paths down my face It lurks within the shadows out of sight The moon's lost in this forsakken place And all that's left Are- Forgotten dreams and paradise lost I was playing the game At no matter the cost It could never be the same.
