To the other world I travel upon the winds of time. Hoping that my essence will be able to find the treasure of wisdom which I eternally seek. Though my journey continues to look bleak. In the distance I see clouds of smoke rise. Dark enough to blind the mind's eye. A force draws me towards it as I struggle to flee, but this unrelenting force has taken control of me. On the battlefield I sttle as I watch fighting all around. I'm so confused that I can't tell up from down. A being comes to me and asks, "By who's side do you stand?" In a hoarse, fearful voice I reply, "I live for one man." Without a hint of hesitation, he withdrawls his blade. Out of fire and brimstone was his sword made. A slash to the body makes me bow at his feet. Never thought anyone this ruthless I would meet. As pain seeps through my soul, he pulls back my head. Other than worship him, I'd rather be dead. Tears drop from my eyes as his blade enters my chest. Now I lie motionless like most of the rest He asks me once again, the question the same. With tears mixed with blood, I reply, "I live for one man, Jesus is His name." Who knew the end of my journey would be this way?...To be continued...
