Spewing forth the truth
I am so afraid to face.
You are not alone
with your inability to commit.
I too am afraid,
shades of yellow.
So instead we hide.
Staying to what we know....
Purple passion, with hues of red.
The indecent colors
threaded on a string of one night stands.
Sweaty palms, and warm pink lips
hungry for the salty taste of flesh.
I kiss you firmly, teasing your mouth,
knowing that the one thing we both agree on,
is our desire to fuck the hell out of each other.
Tonight it will be good enough to get us through.
Green with envy in the morning light
will be my newest shade.
Jealousy rules my heart, Would you believe
I am jealous of the cat?
She at least never has to leave.
I drive away as the season changes,
bringing skies of blue and gray.
Leaving me to my memories,
making you dinner, then making love
all night on the mattress on the floor.
Where never mattered to me, all I wanted
was to be with you, wrapped in your arms.
The blue and gray becomes streaked with
pink and orange as once again
my memories spill over into my dreams,
knowing that soon, I will be in your arms again.
