Walking through the snow covered park My coat clinched tight to offer some heat Drowned in painful memories of long ago As the chilled snow crunches beneath my feet. A shadow moves in blocking my path Stopping me instantly in my tracks The hair on my neck stands on end While fear quickly climbs my back. Opening my eyes to see myself surrounded Encircled by winged creatures holding lanterns of light They quickly part, letting him step though My dreamland Angel has found me in the night. Smoothing my tears he comforts me Enfolding his wings to make a shell Protecting me from pains of months old Giving me some hope and a place to dwell. Releasing some weights off my shoulder He leaves me till once needed again Promising to walk through life with me All I needed to do was say when. Fading their lights, one by one they disappeared The circle vanishing with a tornado of wind I face the sky and breathe a breath of fresh air Awaiting the next moment I see him again. Walking home I can hear his whisper Smell his scent, feel his glow A true protector, guide of life He is my Angel of Snow.Birth sign: Pisces
