Good Intentions

by PunkyThespian - Libra

Moonlight falls across a picture of you
My breath catches, I come unglued
The way the light falls, bouncing off your face
The hands of time unwind;I'm transported to another place

Like an old sepia movie the past begins to play
Terars flow so freely over pain I can't erase
The urge to scream becomes so strong,
But no sound can be heard

Invisible daggers perice my heart
remembering your words
You pleaded and you begged
You cried your tears
Asking me to forgive you,
Forget my broken trst
But old habbits die hard,
You prove that time after time

Every time I let you back in,
Everytime I cry
And for all your vows,
you couldn't hold to your absentions
... and so the road to hell
       Is paved with good intentions
