If Only Life Were A Game

by Dan Kleinman - Cancer

If Only Life Were A Game

I wish I could start over at times,
And I wish I could skip a few days,
I wish I had just one shot at fame,
Oh, If only life were a game.
To be able to pause and think things through,
To be able to take back some things I say and do,
I wish I could undo things that all ready came,
Oh, If only life were a game.
I wish I hadn't gone through that phase,
I wish I hadn't wasted all those days,
I wish I could get rid of all my shame,
Oh, If only life were a game.
I would just replay,
Again and again,
All those nights with you.
The good and the bad,
I liked them all the same,
Oh, If only life were a game.
