I'll tell you all What I see so clearly Because of your poor way Of hiding But I won't even glance At myself. I can follow your path Of thinking And tell you which one You incorrectly picked In your cognitive journey But I won't give you a map Of mine. I'm able To rip away any mode Of distortion you can find And expose your sheltered soul But mine is so neatly tucked away I have forgotten where I tucked it. It's easy For me To unravel you But I'm part Of my own knot.
Reason for writing:
I've noticed that the majority of my poetry lately (past six or seven months) hasn't had anything to do with me personally, and if it did, it was usually in the third person. Good thing I'm a psych student...I know why I'm doing it. lol
