till shes gone

by c h an e l - Virgo

laughter can only get so loud...
and tears can only flow so long
a road can slowly change its course
as a record skips the playing song
i only recall a glimpse of the past
i thought id put those years to rest
tucked beneath the untouchables
behind the cob-webbed chest
why make a reconsiliation
theres no mediator to defend my case
abandoned in a raging fire
youve sent me to an early grave
ive wasted months on trying hard
to recieve an unacceptance letter
my best friend made contributions to it
i thought i knew her better
all in all youve left me here
with no extinguisher to put out the fire
you burn on in my memorys
leaving ash to the ones i desire
the coffee was left bitter
a reminder of our bond
u never knew what you had
until i was gone
