Fool Enough

by Twan - Aries

no more promises to anyone i can't keep
i promise to forever love you till i fall and weep
no more promise no more sorrow
no longer shall i follow
floored and lost among them
i just want to be me again
fool enough to almost see this
cool enough to almost be this
fool enough to want to flee this
dumb enough to want to free this
swinging to and fro in the wind
hanging from this light pole again
we'll go through this drama right than
what kind of crap do you call a sin
righteous assholes and holier than thou
wiping sweat from my brow
landing on the outside
fool enough to have fried
when i can finally, i will
have to have to have tried
finally, i will.
