RAILWAY BLUES

RAILWAY BLUES

The station heaved with comuters the monday morning blues,
One train sat for twenty minutes awaiting train crew.
Great Western or maybe it should be late Western as a name,
They are always late and should hold there heads in shame.
Virgin are not much better even though they have smart new rolling stock,
Punctuality would be better first so services run by the timetable clock.
Thames Trains not bad, rubbish is my pet hate,
Or no guard on the services when its last orders and is late.
Why is there such a rising crime on trains and staff?
You used to have fun at work, a joke and a laugh.
But crime has nothing to gain........
The tube is another problem zone for me to shout,
Especially on match days, saftey needs sorting out.
I don't want to stand by the wall,
To be confronted by knife weilding thugs chanting Millwall.
More staff more money needs to be ploughed in,
One day we will have justice, one day we will win.....

Reason for writing:

I work on the trains this is my own thoughts
