Will You Marry Me?

by Kevin A. Friduss - Scorpio

Will You Marry Me?

The concert was amazing
N’sync was playing
We sat in front row center
There were around 70,000 spectators
Hot dogs and a beer made up our food
We held hands all through the concert
Until a special song about love came on
I told her that I needed to go to the restroom
She stood there waiting for me for about 5 minutes
She listened to the music herself
Then it was Showtime
N’sync told her to come up on stage
She didn’t resist and was very excited
They guys told everyone to get fired up for what was about to happen to her
And for that matter, me
A white smoke started blasting with special lights from stage right
And then I walked out
A tuxedo and a bouquet of red roses
I said to her: “I can’t imagine spending my life with anyone but you, I’ve loved you since the moment that are lips touched, and I’ll love you forever.”
As I said that I dropped to my knees
Looked at the floor with the microphone in hand
Looked up at her with a sparkle in my eye
She was crying with her hand over her mouth
“Marry me?”
The crowd cheered
She looked down at me while I slid a diamond onto her finger
And said yes

Reason for writing:

Don't you ever wonder about how your going to ask that special someone to marry you?
