Mummy lets me play with my Lego bricks When alone, now I'm up to tricks Pressing pieces into place Here a window, there a door There a window, here a door Here a door, there a window There a door, here a window Both steeples nicely built together Smashed now...because my dinner's ready
Reason for writing:
I write this poem in the mid 70's,when I was about 7.I found it in a draw of old bits and pieces. Not one of my best...but,like a scar on leather, proof of the genuine article.
