VENOM She looked into my eyes, alone at last, Could she see those dark moments from my past? Those haunting visions that plague my soul, Where deep furrowed lines had taken their toll. A carousel of injected dreams, Mottled marks scar my late teens. I had tried to give up a fix, a drink, Friends rammed it home until I couldn’t think. But still the venom coursed my veins, While relatives, my wife endures the pain. Her eyes showed warmth even love, Please God guide me as you judge above. As day turns to night, and I can’t resist, Injected demon spreads like mist.Birth sign: Scorpio
