Two Roses In A Vase

Two Roses In A Vase
By: Ann M. Hampton

Two roses in a vase
One for you and one for me.
Together, makes a beautiful picture
For all to see.

Hung up on the wall,
It's beauty is rare
That is why
So many people stare.

They envy a love
That is as true as ours.
It's like hypnosis;
A magician with powers.

The red of passion,
The green of envy,
The white of purity
Are mesmerizing by many.

Reason for writing:

A picture hanging on the wall.
