Come in, My dear friend, You look tired. When was the last time you slept? Are you hungry? You're as cold as an icicle. Come, have a seat by the fire. You must have travelled far, Your shoes are worn out. The days have been sunny and scorching, Have they not? Your skin is peeled and rosy. It must've been a long journey, my friend. Your eyes are weak and weary. I think I'd like to hear about this trip, It sounds interesting. Were you attacked by bears? Or did you fish with one? Did you wrestle a lion? Or join a pack of wolves? Were you capured by Indians And make a daring escape? Or maybe you made friends with the chieftain's daughter? Did you smoke their peacepipe? What say you friend, What has you so bent out of shape? Life you say? Is that what you were mumbling? Is that what brought you to my door? My friend, Life was not meant to be so cold. Look, the fire is dying. Excuse me while I add a log. I need to keep it burning...
Reason for writing:
Adding a log to a fire is like adding joy to your life, it keeps it burning bright. So when your fire starts dying, remember to add a log.
