The sun shines to scorch our face We pretend to burn and then find shade The shadow of a tree means everything When the heat of day is melting me The grass itches as we sweat Leaves fall next to the place we sit A book of words cant express sunsets Leaving us alone for the experience So lets go to sleep under night skys We'll drink cheap wine and dream of fireflys The wind will blow upon our skin Telling us story's that have already been We'll lie in eachothers arms The wine will make us see stars Reality will change as our heads spin faster The stars will die as the sun grows stronger The wormth in our system will then fade As clouds darken our new day And as I sit with a frown and an empty bottle Your kiss on my face makes me startle "Being wrong never felt so right!"
