On this our anniversary Just let me say That I love you more With each passing day. I never believed in Love at first sight Until I met you That cold winter night. I knew right then That you were the one; My search for a companion Was soon to be done. You looked my way And I knew right then That if you slipped away I wouldn't see you again. So I gathered up the nerve To walk up & say "Hi" All the time I was afraid You'd walk right on by. But you stopped & spoke And that's all it took I fell in love After just that first look. So here we are now On this special day With a love so strong I get carried away. Sometimes it's your voice Or we can just be kissing But I know in my heart You were the piece that was missing.
