There have been
So many...
Tiny faces
Crying in the
Dark
Can I have
A little
Magic here
Please
I have found
Them
During back table
Lap dances
Shivering on
Park benches
Banging on my
Door at 3 a.m.
I have touched
So many sad faces
Sprinkled magic
Across their tears
And swallowed
All their misery
Filling their cracks
With spit and wit
And good natured
Banter
Cleaning them up
And turning them
Out stronger
Than me
Now I sit
Tiny face
Waiting
Can I have
A little
Magic here
