No one
Sees my face
Looking back at them
When they stare in
the mirror
No one but me
They don't feel
resentment
when I can't fit into my jeans
or temporary fulfillment
spending money
or twinkies
will bring me
can't imagine
the way I cringe
when someone sneaks a hand on me
no one denies
themselve
quite like me
ignoring something
that's everything about me
the frustrations
tongue-biting
appeasing
defeats
successes
the reason
I denied help
keeping me from looking
and see the me
everyone else gets
the hate
there is
when people
love the wrong me
my shallow personality
the misunderstandings
the assumptions
that are right
for a minute or two
when I let them
the fear
of whatever you got
Reason for writing:
not a mind fuck...not deeply inspirational or thought provoking but oh well...
