A righteous man looked down his nose At a woman who lived by the Wiccan Rede To him she embodied pure evil A notion he couldnot concede Day after day he'd "speak" to her To show her the error of her ways He'd spew the Bible passages whenever they 'd meet Her soul, he decided to save One night as he spoke to his God He prayed to be shown a sign a way to break through Satans spell And show her the one true path that is right At once his Lord God stood before him In a flowing white robe, with silvery beard "My child, come take a walk with me, For there's much for me to say and for you to hear" "My Son, I have many faces Not just the way I appear before you I am known by many names in many tongues In many shapes and hues... To Christians I look just like them In the image of a man But I also appear as many animals to the Kooris, Africans and Sian I am a desert dweller just like Muhummad I am also known as Allah As Jesus, Jehova, and Yaweh The moon the Sun and the Stars I am Gaia the bountiful mother I am the serpant who shaped the earth I am the Lord and Lady I am the mother earth It matters not what you call me Only that I am Can see what I'm trying to say My son, Do you understand?" As we walked through the forrest we passed the most beautiful man My Lord he smiled and nodded As they briefly reached out their hands "My Lord , please who was that, an angel?" God smiled and chuckled a small laugh "My son that was Lucifer, My Evil Malevolent half" But the Bible says he was evil That he challenged you and for that he fell To become the Evil Satan Lord of the Fiery Hell And the Lord God simply shook his head And said yes So the Bible says It is but a book written not by me Not a concrete model of my ways These books have there merits The Bible, the Torah, the Koran A beautiful read , but not written by me They were written by man If I am the almighty And Lucifer banished for challenging me? If I am GOd is that possible If I am the one true Path how can that be? Fear not my child there is no right or wrong There are many paths as you can see And they all lead to the same place Go in peace, merry part, Bless'ed Be.... And the righteous man learnt a lesson that night That the great spirit is in all that lives And whatever you chose to call it It's love and wisdom to you it will give And the next time he saw the woman whose soul he had wanted to save He apologised for his blindness To the beauty of her ways He promised he would no longer harass her With his self-righteous path He simply smiled and said god bless you Oh and Merry Part.....
