In youth, I never thought of what I had The energy The health The life that I led I took too much for granted Never thought anything could go wrong Now 5 months after discovering That I have Fibromyalgia A form of chronic fatigue disorder I wish like hell that I could back a year Back to when I could go five minutes without getting weak Back to when I could walk across a room without getting tired And back to when I could live the normal teenage life Running around like crazy Not having to worry about eating right Sleeping the required hours Taking the medicine to enable me to sleep well Watching people my age Turning 20 this year Having fun While I rest here... Feeling like a 70 year old Tired and weak.

Stress isn't helping me too much this week
