Sell Out

by Elisa Hinson - Libra

My new club
Has free hair spray
And a mint girl
In the dressing room

Still sometimes
Beer bottles
Shatter
Against a wall

My new home
Has
Four bedrooms
Two baths
And a two car
Garage

Still sometimes
Someone
Must try to
Break in

My new love
Has hair like
Corn silk
And abs
I could bounce
A quarter
Off of

Still sometimes
I wish
For better
Conversation

My new life
Came by
Much time
Spent clawing
And biting
And fighting
To the top

Still sometimes
I wonder
If much has
Changed at all
