As your lying in bed Resting your head I can hear many people saying That they will be and are praying It's not that we're daring But it's because we're caring I know everythings not alright That's why we are supporting you day and night We'll be friends Like I said, to the end Look around and see that you're very smart So open up your heart Like they say, when there's a will there's a way Maybe you'll realize this some day I know all this sounds really lame But for reals you're the only one to blame It's not that I'm trying to be mean saying this to you It's the fact that it's true I know this poem don't ryhme So remember me and this till the end of time!
Reason for writing:
The reason why I wrote this poem is because a special friend of mine just got shot and is in the hospital and he needs support and I don't want to lecture him and this poem has some acknowledgement to it. He is a very great guy, he gave me respect when no one else did! I promised him eternal friendship. Inside everyone there's a poet!
