I wish you would have died, I know it sounds like a fucked up thing to say, I listen to other's stories of their daddies and how they went away. Some force beyond their reach, Grasped their lives and blew out their light, Now they'll never know how their daddies would have been. I'm so sorry to say, I wish I could say the same, Then I'd have a reason, To hurt this way. Instead I'm left with this... You're there, living your life...not wanting me in it.
Reason for writing:
Ally's poem made me think of my dad. I don't mean to be insensitive by what I said in this poem...I just feel that way sometimes because it's really hurts when things are left undone and I don't even know why. My dad is alive to tell me why, but he chooses not to, ya know?
