BECAUSE I LOVE YOU
My love for you will always be
Like a blossom in a tree
It must be handled carefully
Then it will always bloom forever
BECAUSE I LOVE YOU.
I know that when problems arise
That we can conquer what comes by
And when we look back on these days
We'll learn that nothing comes our way
That didn't show a new pathway
BECAUSE I LOVE YOU.
I dedicate this poem to you
Because I know that you'll be true
You know my love will always be
Like the blossom on the tree
And so our love will soar so high
I know the limits are the sky
BECAUSE I LOVE YOU.
Reason for writing:
I wrote this poem firstly for my Husband Brian on our first Wedding Anniversary. I then submitted it to the Internationl World of Poetry competition. It is the first poem I wrote and so it is special. I have since written and submitted another 5 poems which are to be published in Poetry From the Soul which the International poetry will publish in the American Summer.
