Rather Die Standing Than on Our Knees

by Ms. TKay - Cancer

Wanna run us down
Bring us to our knees
With the evil frown
Like a nasty disease

We don't surrender easy
We uphold our dignity
Your threat is cheesy
Hold out for infinity

Point your weapons
Right in the face
Spray us with your mase
Call us a disgrace

But we won't get on our knees
And beg you please
Cause you planted those keys
And we're face down in the debris

Took the chips we were stacking
The guns we were packing
But integrity is what you're lacking
Out in the hood jacking

Bent over cars
Hands behind our backs
bleeding scars
Your boss covering your tracks

Justice on the street
Well I declare!
Bring the heat
Triple dog dare!!

We'll stand and let you pull the trigger
With our faces blowing in the Chi-Town breeze
We'd rather die standing on two feet
Than die on two knees
