the time with you lying next to me
the sweat boiling off your skin

i'm grateful for the gods for giving me you
it must have been easy for you to decide
tommorow is the first day
of the rest of our lives

compared to you, nirvana's pure hell
our enemies will recieve their death knell
as i hold you in my arms
i soon fall for your charm

we may be punished, and pushed to the edge
we may lose control, i may lose my mind
but tonight is the first day
of the rest of our lives
