Not the Stereotype

by Christie - Aries

Didn’t know she was like that
She seem so nice
Who would have known
She was so respected
Such a valuable student
A role model
She doesn’t fit the stereotype
Of that kind of girl
such a pretty face
well respected and envied
held up on a pedal stool
with two broken legs
She’s daddy’s little angel
And her momma’s whole world
She’s a straight A student
Captain of the cheerleading team
Scholarship to any college she chooses
Who would have ever thought
She would end up like that
So popular it’s hard to believe
It must be lie
I know it can not be true
She was raised better
Such false rumors
Miss Prom queen cannot be pregnant
She’s not going to have a baby
She doesn’t fit the stereotype
