My Gap (Abyss)

when I decided
to go soul searching
  I had never prepared myself
that so much would be missing
  an abyss
my gap
  missing a chunk
of myself
  for so long
I've forgotten
  how it looks
the feeling
  of living for someone else
and knowing they're living for me
  something like this
without the usual gummy extracts...

damn...I wanted this to come out right
   guess it would have
if I wasn't missing that piece.
