MOVIE STARS (TWO POEMS IN ONE)

MOVIE STARS (TWO POEMS IN ONE)

The hills were masked with a cloudy Vail,
With bated breath waiting for the film to start,
In the heavens a comet passed with a fiery tail.
Squirming in my seat to stifle a fart.
Stars that shine sparkle bright,
Popcorn, chocolates and a fizzy drink,
The moons gentle light in the sky at night.
It still dispersed…Phew what a stink.
Amorous birds circling the ground,
Entertainment in light on a canvas screen,
Bird song floating delicately around.
Will it be the best movie I’ve ever seen?
