Blinking red light Louisiana number in sight My brain starts working I'm in my mind, searching There's only one person whose number this could be Could this really be him calling me? Nah...I lost touch with him eons ago So my brain starts to search again, this time real slow Who else do I know in that part of the dirty south I grew speechless as no words or names came from my mouth Still stuck on stupid when the phone did its thing The same number showed up after the first ring "Hello" "Hi, how are you?" "Fine, who am I speaking to?" "Think for a second, listen to my voice" He wouldn't reveal his identity so that was my only choice That country drawl, that southern accent A dead give-away, my main hint I started smiling as I remembered his name My first love had tracked me down The return of an old flameBirth sign: Cancer
